About us

First Aid Sisters has proudly provided First Aid training to the Greater Hamilton, Niagara and Toronto regions for over 25 years. They have successfully trained the Hamilton Police and their families for 23 years, as well as to Hamilton Animal Services and the City of Hamilton Recycling staff. There are many more benefits to training with us than simply acquiring life-saving skills. We also specialize in team-building, fostering communication among staff members, and building on family dynamics with our private in home courses. Over the years, we have fine-tuned our teaching approach to deliver information in fun and interactive ways so it will be retained for potential future use.

Since 2000, we’ve had the privilege of teaching students from grades 9 to 12 across multiple school boards in Hamilton, Burlington, and Oakville. The opportunity to work with thousands of diverse youth has led us to creative dynamic courses that fit the needs of all. In addition, we’ve worked with adult learners through St. Charles Adult Education, McMaster University, and students from grades 3 through 12 at the prestigious Hillfield Strathallan College.

Our diverse clientele includes organizations such as CARSTAR, Fortinos, Whitebird Packaging, Safety Power Inc.; as well as numerous dental and orthodontic offices, daycare teams, yoga staff, nurses, PSWs, chiropractors, lifeguards, personal trainers, Bob Kemp Hospice, staff from Ontario Rehabilitation for Brain Injury, Lagoon City Marina and community, Shore Acres Trailer Park, and Highland RV Resort – providing training to both staff and residents. We’ve also trained clergy, ushers, and congregants at churches across Hamilton, Burlington, and Dundas. Furthermore, we’ve partnered with the Fit Active Beautiful Foundation to deliver engaging courses for their coaches who train inner city youth in Hamilton how to set, structure, and achieve a goal to run a 5K race.

We love what we do and we do it to empower others to feel confident to save a life.

We have been engaged as a co-op placement provider for SHSM (Specialist High Skills Major) Programs with the Hamilton-Wentworth  District School Boards. Hit the "Contact Us" button for details on how to join our team for your placement!
