Emergency First Aid
About the Course
This one-day course provides lifesaving first aid and CPR skills for workplace or home emergencies. It meets provincial/territorial safety requirements and follows the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.
Course Content:
Level A: Responding to emergencies, CPR/AED for adults, choking, heart attack, stroke, deadly bleeding, and more.
Level C: Includes all Level A content plus CPR for children and babies, choking, and opioid poisoning awareness.
Meets specific legislative requirements.
Target Audience
High school students in the SHSM program, post-secondary health care students, anyone in the workforce, volunteers, caregivers for seniors or family members. Anyone working with 1-5 other people on any given shift.
