About the Course
This comprehensive two-day course (one-day for the blended version) covers first aid and CPR skills for workplace or personal emergency preparedness. It meets provincial/territorial safety requirements and follows the latest CPR and first aid guidelines to be WSIB recognized.
Course content includes airway emergencies, respiratory/cardiac arrest, wound care, head/spine injuries, bone/muscle injuries, and more to meet local legislative guidelines.
Certification: 3-year certification in Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level A (Adult CPR only) or C (Adult, Child, Infant CPR included
Online learning time may vary for the Blended version.
Target Audience
High school students in the SHSM program, post-secondary health care students, anyone in the workforce, volunteers, caregivers for seniors or family members.
